Marayoor Panchayat Screening Camp: Dec 17 and 18, 2022
Two day early detection screening camp with almost 250 participants participated in the camp. This was sponsored by the Panchayat using Panchayat fund. Services rendered was basic screening, FIT for colon cancer, HPV for cervical cancer. Services provided by Community Health Center (CHC) Marayoor was PSA and PAP smear.
Services Offered in each Camp
Basic screening for common cancers
BMI analysis and lifestyle modifications accordingly
NCD screening including Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, systemic hypertension
Clinical Breast Examination
Mammogram for screened positives using mobile mammogram units stationed near camp site
Oral Visual Examination
HPV Screening and Counselling
Educating on steps of self breast examination and self oral examination monthly
